Skylerism

I made salmon for the first time ever tonight, and I thought though a tad lemon-y, it was delicious. Not everyone agreed.

S:"Mom, this fish is sooooo resistable."

Yet another morning language lesson gone awry. On the other hand, he told one of my TAs that he likes gold and silver equally; in fact, he said, "I like all lustrous metals about the same."

How smart of him to know that "ir" is a prefix! Way to be good parents.

Sorry about his lack of interest, though, Annie. Bummer.

Ha! I didn't know about the "lustrous" comment. That's awesome :)

Well, it just happened this morning. I would have told you later tonight, I'm sure.

Good job with the fish. If you want another salmon recipe I have one my kids love and that I crave daily when I'm pregnant.

OK, now I know that I am failing as a parent... I can barely get my kids to speak to me in Spanish... much less know words like "lustrous"!

All joking aside, I am seriously impressed, and envious!
